O'Halloran & O'Brien Ltd. was incorporated in 1972. It is now in the sole ownership of Tom O'Brien. The company has evolved from a small groundworks company to a multi disciplined major contractor, encompassing the full spectrum of Civil Engineering and ground remediation.
Over the past ten years, the inhouse planthire department was set up as a separate company (B & T Plant Hire Ltd.- www.bandtplanthire.co.uk.) The company now incorporates a Reinforced Concrete Frame division. This sector of the company, from small beginings in 1997, accounted for nearly 50% of the turnover in 2004.

We have achieved continuing growth in this sector through development of the necessary technical and and professional capabilities. We have available the latest shuttering and concrete leveling systems. Our quality management system ensures continuous monitoring for dimensional and material control purposes.
Our Civil Engineering section can carry out highway works ranging from mains drainage through existing highways to complete construction and/or realignments of highways. We have carried out these works in all of the home counties and in most of the London boroughs. Our workforce are fully qualified under N.R.S.W.A.
We maintain close links with specialist subcontractors for soil treatments and stabilisation to reduce the landfill impact of developments. This is normally carried out in unison with our clients as the land developers.
Our company structure enables us to tender for and complete projects of varying size and complexity including all infrastructure work from a few units to multi-million pound schemes.
